I used:

  • May Arts Ribbon
  • K & Company Patterened Paper
  • Copic Markers
  • Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll Pen
  • CTMH stamp “For every Occassion”

Today’s http://365cards.blogspot.com/ challenge is to incorporate the phrase “Hang in There”

100_0442

I really enjoyed this one as I got to use different techniques. The background paper was some cloud paper I had (not sure who made it). I used CTMH’s stamp of the month for April with a masking technique for the flowers. I colored in the flowers with Copic markers & I used a technique with Copic Markers that I learned in my certification class yesterday for the grass. Below is a photo from the class.

100_0443

Wow, did I learn a lot there! I cut the clothes & cloud from Everyday Paper Dolls and New Arrivals with my Cricut. And used good old fashion handwriting for my sentiment. Some Bazzil cardstock and twine to finish it off.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s challenge and remember, if you can think it… you can Cri-cut!

Today’s challenge at 365 Card Challenge is a “twinchies” challenge. Your whole card can be a twinchie, or you can put one (or two or three) on your card. You’ll need to decorate a 2 x 2 inch piece of cardstock or some other material to meet the challenge. I decided to stay with a St. Patrick’s Day theme and use twinchies as the base of my card utilizing my scraps.

365-17

My background paper consists of a little:
• DCWV
• Bazzil Gold Foil
• Basic Grey Urban Prairie
I cut my turtle with “A Walk in the Garden” and “Paper Doll Dress Up”. The tag is from “Heritage” cartridge. The ribbon is from May Arts. Stamp from CTMH “Holiday Hoopla” a wonderful stamp set for all occasions. And gold metallic ink from Color Box. Happy St. Patty’s Day!
