My family thinks I’m crazy, I don’t agree

So I’m leaving for vacation this weekend, and I’m really excited. My husband and I go on vacation every year about this time with some friends ours. Our kids used to go, but now that they are grown, it’s just us, and my daughter stays at my house to keep an eye on things, feed and water our pets (including my Cricut green parrot…more on that later), and make sure everything is running smoothly.

This year, after great debate, we decided to go to Traverse City, Michigan. Michigan has always been a favorite destination for us, but we’ve never been to Traverse City. I’ve already been researching all the scrapbooking stores in the area, and I’m especially excited because we’re going to the Ann Arbor Arts Festival, which I’ve never been but always wanted to go.

I’m packing all my stuff and while most people spend their time trying to decide how many pairs of shoes to take, or which outfits are absolutely necessary, I’ve had a hard time trying to decide which of my scrapping supplies are essential. I’m taking my laptop with Design Studio loaded up of course, so I can design some files while I’m there. (Keep checking back, hopefully I’ll have more free files available this week).

Of course I’ll want to test them, so I’ll need to bring a Cricut. Which one? Decisions, decisions.

I plan on taking a side trip or two to visit some local scrapbooking stores, so if anyone is in the area and knows of some good ones, I am open to suggestions. Also I will definitely be at the Ann Arbor Arts Festival, so if you see me, be sure to say hi. How will you know it’s me? I’ll be wearing my Cricut green sunglasses of course!

Ready for vacation

Anyone else can’t bear to go on vacation from their Cricut? I’d love to hear about it!!
