I love to teach. Mostly all things Cricut, but I have taught other things in my days. Cards, calendars, you name it. While my days are now filled with Cricut, I still love all those other things as well.
There are many ways that I learn new things. I take other classes, talk to other instructors and also read books.
One of my favorites is called Paper Bouquet: Using Paper Punches to Create Beautiful Flowers. It has excellent pictures, detailed, easy to read directions and the flowers are as real looking as you’re going to get without purchasing actual flowers.
One thing I’d like to mention is that it does require a lot of punches that you might think are difficult to find, however I have found an ebay seller that has quite a few of the flower punches. They’re inexpensive and all in once place. The seller also has a store
full of other craft goodies. At first I was discouraged because I really wanted to make these beautiful flowers, but after finding this seller, this book became invaluable to me.
Then an even better idea came to me. Why couldn’t I design these same flowers on Design Studio for Cricut? So this is what I did. Even better, I’ve included a file for you, with more to come.
If you want to download this file, you’ll need to register and login.

I found that book in a small shop in Texas while visiting friends. Loved it but when looking at purchasing all those punches, whoa! So Thank You for this file (now I have to do that update!). Please do pansy and sweetpea petals next!!!! Also, I had looked at a number of my carts and found leaves that might work with these flowers…what do you think?

I have this book – in fact it is what got me started back into my crafting. I fell out of it for several years, and it feels very good to be back.
I am thrilled to see designs for the cricut from this book — because I’ll tell you, collecting all of the punches was not only a pain; it was expensive. I think after about 5 months of searching and collecting, I can literally only ‘properly’ make 2-3 flowers from the book.
So. HURRAY for Cricut!
