http://www.deseretdesigns.com/index_1.html

I would like to know if the DVD is worth the price?

I agree with all you said . I think this machine is nice and would be of lots of use to a professional or home baker, but they will be selling their cakes. They are going to have to change the angel policy to accommodate this machine, but will have to apply to all cricuts. Lots of people sell pages and cuts they make with their cricuts. I personally see nothing wrong with it because they are purchasing the products and will continue to purchase more. Why make something of this range without expecting it to be used in business. I don't see any need for me, hey I hardly cook let alone bake! Just my two cents.

I wasn't at CHA, but read about this new machine and think it seems quite silly!! I hadn't heard about the Angel Policy, but went to Google to investigate. I can't imagine that the machine will go over well for the average Joe (or likely Jill in this case) who is only able to make cakes for family and friends without selling them. Anyway, it's certainly not a product for me. I order my cakes!!

Hi. Im glad you made a comment on the new cricut cake machine. I was at CHA on Friday and saw this machine, its very pretty Ill have to say. Bright candy apple red with chrome color details. But, Im going to have to agree with your comments, expecially since they can not sell the cakes they make using the cricut, bad idea. There was many woman there trying to win one in thier drawing at CHA and all seemed very excited to want one. I do not think it going to go over well. As they we demonstrating it they too had problems with the dough tearing and pulling into the maching. I think this is going to be a hard product to get cakers to purchase. For those of you that went to CHA, what do you think?

I agree with you - I have used my Cricut for cutting gum paste decorations and I have a blade and mat put aside exclusively for this craft - I will make cakes for my grandsons and family but I definitely don't want to make this a profession (been there, done that)! I would rather have seen a bigger Cuttlebug! and a lower priced Gypsy!
Thanks for listening!
